This Privacy Policy explains how Vornix collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Vornix mobile application and related support pages. Please read this policy carefully before using the service.

1. Information We Collect

Vornix may collect the following categories of information through the application:

Personal Data

• Profile information such as rider name, profile image, and bio
• Content you create, including ride posts, comments, route tags, and saved Ride Cards
• Purchase and balance information related to Trail Credits
• Support requests, feedback, and moderation reports you submit

Feature Input Data

• Text you submit for route translation
• Audio captured during live voice translation sessions
• Photos, videos, or source images you choose for posts or AI-assisted ride tools
• Location or route context you manually add to ride content

AI Input Data and Face Data

• For Generate Ride Card, we collect the route stop or location you select, any optional extra description you enter, the card size you choose, and the prompt generated from those inputs
• For Ride Copilot, we collect the text question or request you submit
• If you attach a photo in Ride Copilot, we collect the selected photo itself, including any visible facial features and lip area when present

Automatically Collected Information

• Device type, operating system, app version, and identifiers needed for service reliability
• Usage logs and diagnostics that help improve performance and detect abuse
• Analytics related to feature usage, errors, and stability

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to operate and improve Vornix, including to:

• Provide ride posting, profile, and community feed functionality
• Process route text and voice translation requests
• Generate Ride Cards and support AI-assisted ride tools
• Manage purchases, balances, and restoration for Trail Credits
• Respond to support requests and review moderation or safety reports
• Maintain platform security, detect misuse, and improve service performance

AI and Face Data Use

• We use AI feature input data only to perform the AI feature you request
• Generate Ride Card input data is used only to create the Ride Card image you request
• Ride Copilot text and any attached photo are used only to analyze the submitted content and return the Ride Copilot response you request
• We do not use face data for face recognition, identity verification, profiling, biometric templates, face embeddings, advertising, or marketing
• We ask for your permission in the app before sending AI request data, and a separate Face Data Consent is required before Ride Copilot sends a photo that may contain facial features

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information in limited circumstances such as:

• Public Content: Posts, comments, and profile elements you choose to publish can be visible to other users
• Service Providers: We may use providers for hosting, analytics, translation, AI processing, and platform billing support
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
• Safety and Enforcement: We may review and use reports, logs, or account information to investigate abuse or policy violations

Third-Party AI Providers

• When you use Generate Ride Card or Ride Copilot, the app sends the minimum AI request data needed to Alibaba Cloud DashScope
• Generate Ride Card requests may include the selected route stop or location, optional extra description, selected card size, and generated prompt
• Ride Copilot requests may include your text question or request and, if you attach a photo, the selected photo including any visible facial features and lip area when present
• AI requests are sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope's China mainland deployment (North China 2, Beijing)
• Vornix does not sell face data, and Vornix does not use the source Ride Copilot face photo for its own face recognition or identity verification purposes

4. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information handled by Vornix. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and you should understand that internet and mobile transmissions always involve some level of risk.

For Ride Copilot photo analysis, Vornix does not store the source face photo on its own servers. Within the app, the selected source photo is held only in memory for the active request/session and is not written to long-term local chat history.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as:

• The right to access personal information we hold about you
• The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• The right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions
• The right to request restriction or objection to certain processing activities
• The right to request data portability where applicable

6. Children's Privacy

Vornix is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through Vornix, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service operation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security review, and enforcement of community rules. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of content or transaction involved.

AI Feature and Face Data Retention

• AI feature consent records and Face Data Consent records are stored locally on your device until app data is cleared or your account data is deleted in the app
• Ride Card history, including generated images, route stop names, optional descriptions, and selected sizes, is stored locally on your device until you delete that history or remove app data
• Ride Copilot text history is stored locally on your device until you delete the app data or remove the related local history
• Ride Copilot source photos are retained in the app only for the active request/session and are not written to long-term local chat history or stored on Vornix servers
• Provider-side request records may be retained by Alibaba Cloud DashScope according to its service terms and applicable law

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in features, legal requirements, or data practices. When material changes occur, we will provide an updated version through the app, website, or another reasonable notice method.
